Adoring Jamie ChungYour best source about Jamie Chung.

Jamie Chung is entering the Marvel universe.

The Gotham actress has signed on to play the famed character Blink in Fox’s Marvel drama pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The untitled project revolves around two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Also known as Clarice Fong, Bing is described as sarcastic, lively and a bit of a tomboy. Her naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life. As she adjusts to the new people and places that are suddenly ‘home’, Clarice is slowly becoming herself again.

First introduced in the X-Men comics in 1994, the character of Blink also boasts the power of teleportation. She was portrayed by Chinese actress Fan Bingbing in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Matt Nix (Burn Notice) will serve as showrunner and also executive produce alongside franchise veterans Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg as well as Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. X-Men film franchise veteran Singer will also direct the pilot, which hails from 20th Century Fox TV and Marvel.

Chung is the first actor cast in the highly anticipated project. The role would keep Chung at Fox, where she is currently playing another comic book character, Valerie Vale, on the network’s Gotham. Her other credits include Once Upon a Time, The Hangover Part II and Big Hero 6.

Big Hero 6 – Trailer

Jamie Chung voices as Go Go Tomago in Disney’s new movie “Big Hero 6”. You can read more about the synopsis or catch the trailer below. The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

“Big Hero 6” is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius?thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion?a cutting-edge robot named Baymax?and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).

With the highly anticipated release of Sin City: A Dame To Kill For bound for theaters this summer, we grabbed a chance to talk to Jamie Chung about her role and what it was like filming the movie. She plays the role of Miho, a (literally) silent assassin originally played by Devon Aoki in the first film. Jamie quickly put aside any fears we had about Frank Miller’s involvement in the film, stating that the original creator was on set every day, and personally sketched out all of the storyboards that the film followed.
